Sources for this information: AZGS, ADWR This feature class was extracted from the 2002 AZGS Geology Coverage, which is the same as the LIB.GEOLOGY feature class. With the help of Bill Remick, hardrock geology features were selected and then used to create the polygons that you see in the Hardrock2005.mdb data. This was done around 2005. In 2007, when a Select by location was done in ArcMap, the following Geologic units were queried out to be part of the hardrock layer: ??,?m, J?, Jg,Jsv, Jv, KJs, Ks, Kv,M?, Mzo, P, P?, Pz, Q, Qm, Qo, Qr, QTb, QTs, QTv, Qy, Tb, Tby, Tg, Ti, TKg, TKgm, Tsm, Tso, Tsv, Tsy, Tv, Tvy, TXgn, W, Xg, Xm, Xms, Xmv, Xq, Yd, Yg, Ys, YXg.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV>
